Isendoorn versus Italy bij FC Zutphen

blok-oranje-rood

I have a very nice Italian guy in my house this week, Pablo. Pablo is my son Didier’s guest and one of the many students from Parma in Italy that have a student exchange week with the 3rd class of the bilingual department of the Isendoorn.

I have heard many of the Italians speak and I must say: they speak the English language extremely well! That is probably because they come from an international school, not just an Italian school with a little extra English. So all the students understand each other perfectly.

Today 25 guys passed my house on their way to FC Zutphen, to find out whether the gate is open so that they can play football. And yes, the gate was open and even Gert-Jan said they could play, as long as they all cleaned up their garbage. I gave them a large bag of drinks, cookies and chips, because football makes thirsty and hungry.
I walked the dog especially to FC Zutphen to see for myself what they were doing and whether or not they behaved. And I must say: I am proud of them! To see how much fun they had, how sportive they behaved to each other and how well they all played together.

So thank you FC Zutphen, for making it possible. For allowing these kind of spontaneous football matches to happen. Thank you!
